User reviews on Chartiers Valley Stadium 18
The theater itself is very nice, they seem to be willing to spend money to overhaul their image. They even seem to be brainstorming new ideas to drum up business such as the thought of selling alcohol. Overall I like this theater but I wont be returning however. After having nothing but good things to say about the theater why won't I return? Easy, Kathy Plummer, worst manager I have ever had to deal with in my life. I have no idea how she could even pass an entry interview let alone become a manager. She is very rude and cold to any customer she deals with. It seems like the staff themselves no longer respect her for the same treatment. In my dealing with her she seemed disinterested in what I had to say and did not even want to deal with me. I will no longer be returning to the theater for which I have been a reliable client. Upper Management: Maybe you should step in and correct this issue before you start losing more valuable clientele over someone who should not be in the customer relations field. Maybe if this gets fixed I will return, but until then I will put up with the poor parking situation that cinemark has.
Theater itself ins't bad but I'm giving the credit to Destinta for keeping it in good shape. Management is absolutely ridiculous. Some drunks were in a movie screaming about how they love anal and all management did was say "we're gonna have to ask you to leave" but they did make them leave and the behavior continued. Then after spending the $10 to sit through a movie I couldn't watch because of that, I went to get my "free refill" on my $6 drink but the concession stand was very unpleasant. They were wiping down counters and couldn't be bothered to push a button on a machine to give me my refill. Not only that but the white trash girl just about b****ed me out over it. Complete waste of money and time. Do not go there.
Thanks so much for showing indy and foreign movies. What makes us hesitate to go to your theater is the excess of previews and ads. I don't watch ads at home with my DVR and have little patience for 20 minutes or more in a theater. Start showing no more than 10 minutes of previews and ads and we will stop leaning towards the Manor when we want to see something that's showing in both locations, even though we live in Scott.
We have been here multiple times the place is like an average theater. Good seats with cup holders and they recline. Nice service.
Now on the other hand this experience was horrible the movie was blurry the whole time we only saw half the movie before they stopped us and told us and gave us passes to come back and gave us refunds.
This experience horrible others good.
I agree that this would be a great venue for the Indies. Easy access from I-79/parkway West. No hassle free parking is great. Theater is comfortable with lots of choices.
Thank you, thank you for being one of the only multi-plexes to show the occasional indy and foreign movie. Keep up the good work, maybe even expand it a little. It's nice not to have to drive into downtown or Squirrel Hill to see some of these. I don't think the prices are out of line of other theaters. Parking lot is huge.
Excellent theaters, large beautiful screens and very comfortable seating. Good selection of movies and times! Concessions very high though. Parking is not a problem, the theater is average looking and sort of out of the way.
Its a very nice theatre. The seats recline and there are cup holders. The prices are a little expensive but other than that its an amazing theatre.
